In Southeast Florida lies the United States 4th most haunted and oldest city: St. Augustine. Rich in history this city also has an abundance of haunted places to explore…and wait… for a sighting, a whisper, or a creepy shoulder brush. Visit the St. Augustine Lighthouse; maybe you will be visited by the former lighthouse keeper or the Pittee girls. Bring your Ghost Hunting Kit to the old jail or the for some paranormal activity fun.

Besides haunted adventures this most distinguished town has so much more to offer. While walking the cobblestone roads lined with seashell and rock pillars, take in the amazing historic architecture. This is a prime photo opportunity area!

Dining here can be as simple as a food truck or as majestic and romantic as fine dining. Sleeping accommodations also cater to all. If a romantic two party excursion is what you are after enjoy time at an oceanside adult only. If this is a family oriented trip there are several , also , that welcome youngsters!

There is plenty for children and couples to enjoy here. Check out St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park where there is much more to see than just alligators! Try the Medieval Torture Museum ( if you dare ), Castillo de San Marcos, and/or the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum. There are nature trails and beaches to enjoy and after a day of surfing, sun-bathing and seashell hunting have a refreshment from a local brewery.

Getting around

One way of getting around in St. Augustine is via the Old Town Trolley Tours. These tours are hop-on-hop-off style, allowing you to explore the town at your own pace. They cover many popular destinations, reducing the stress of planning your day. Personally, this is my first choice when visiting here.

are also very popular. Renting a is an attraction in itself, adding to the fun of your vacation. These ensure a memorable experience!

Walking is another option. While you may not cover as much ground, there’s always something interesting to see in St. Augustine. Walking won’t leave you disappointed.
