Take a trip to Anna Maria Island in sunny Florida. It is a safe place to visit, with an average high temperature of 70 degrees, it can be the perfect Florida destination for people of all ages! For some kid-friendly fun putt 18 holes at Fish Hole Miniature Golf. When your done make your way down to the beach for some whole family fun. Then spend the evening having some adult fun, enjoying the island nightlife.

With Bradenton Beach and Holmes Beach on the island you’ll never be far from a fine white sand or beautiful colored beach. Bean Point Beach is known for its sunsets and Coquina Beach is the best shelling beach on the island. They also have a great beach market.

Locals like to go to Bean Point Fishing and Recreation Site for some good fishing. If you need beach gear they have a Just 4 Fun Beach Rentals where you can rent a boat, bicycle or beach gear. They also have a trolley that will take you around the island and all the way down to Sarasota.

While the island has no drive thru restaurants they do have a great variety of family owned restaurants. They even have some with live music every night! Check out The Ugly Grouper, it has a huge 3000 pound fish statue outside.
