Virginia Legends Walk is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The state of Virginia is loaded with history, so it is no surprise that they have made a place to honor Virginians. The Virginia Legends Walk is a tribute to all of the famous Virginians on 13th street. Stretching from Atlantic Avenue to Pacific Avenue, with perfect views of the ocean.
Along with this being a self guided tour it is also free, and who doesn’t like free history. Anyone can nominate anyone, but in the end they are officially chosen by various judges. A few celebrated famous Virginians are Edgar Allen Poe, Ella Fitzgerald, Pocahontas, Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, George Washington, and Patsy Cline. Take a walk down 13th street to see them all!
