Pier 60 located in Clearwater Beach, Florida is a one of a kind experience and should be on everyone’s Florida Bucket list! This is FREE!!
My favorite thing about Pier 60 is the buskers. They have one of a kind performances, and amazing artists with one of a kind pieces of art. You can get drinks at one of the many bars around the corner or have dinner at one of the many restaurants.
Go shopping and let the kids play on the nice playground. Build a sand castle and take a dip in the ocean. The best part about Pier 60 is the unforgettable nightly sunset festival.
Along with the street performers there is also a 1,080 foot pier with telescopes to get a great view. You can get just about anything at the bait house. They have drinks and snacks, t-shirts, souvenirs, as well as bait and rental equipment and a great staff that is eager to help you with any info you need to help your fishing go well. This is a popular night fishing place with a well lite pier and 24 hour bathrooms. Some of the fish caught here are the Spanish mackerel, spotted and silver trout, snook, redfish, tarpon, sheepshead, snappers, flounder, jacks and many more depending on the season.
Pier 60 is a great way to spend a day, an evening, or a weekend in Clearwater Beach, Florida. They have the beach, playground, restaurants, bars, street performers, and vendors. The vibe here is amazing, and there is no better way to spend a day then at Pier 60!
