During the winter holiday season experience Light Up The Lake at Chicagoland’s biggest indoor, temperature-controlled light garden. Hosting more than 600,000 twinkling lights, a 40ft tree, and a 60ft long light tunnel. Skate around the Alpine ice rink, grab a drink at the holiday beer garden, let the kids ride the kiddie train, and go shopping at Santa’s Merry Main Street and gift market.

Spend a beautiful afternoon having a picnic or watching a concert in the Polk Bros Park; known as the city’s 13 acre front yard. Enjoy some art and a 180 degree view of Lake Michigan from East End Plaza. Take in an award winning show at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
