Robbie’s is located in Islamorada, Florida. If you are driving to Key West you HAVE to stop here! Robbie’s should be on everybody’s Florida Bucket List.
Things you can do here include hand feed Tarpon, go on a jet ski adventure, snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, a sunset cruise, kayaking, paddle boarding, tours, shop, transient boat slips, and Islamorada eco tours.
If you do nothing else here you have to stop and hand feed the Tarpon! A Tarpon fish can get up to 8 foot long and 280 pounds. You buy your bucket of fish for only a couple dollars, and walk to the end of the dock, making sure the pelicans don’t get your fish. Then you dangle the fish above the water until a Tarpon snatches it from your hand. Get your camera ready, you’ll want a video of this! This is a great experience for kids and adults. This will have everyone laughing and screaming.
After you feed the Tarpon try catching them. They offer Tarpon, Shark, Mahi-Mahi, Swordfish, Backcountry, Reef and Wreck fishing. They also have night fishing and party boat fishing. If you want a charter but don’t have enough people you can also do the split fishing to bring your price down. With so many options this is the perfect place to do some fishing in the Florida Keys. After you reel in your catch let the Hungry Tarpon cook it up for you!
The Hungry Tarpon is the onsite restaurant. They have a full course meal you can grab to go on your fishing tour or sit and enjoy as you watch the sun come up and see the people feed the tarpon off the dock.
Make your trip to the Keys even more memorable by leaving your mark! Write your message on a dollar bill and staple it to the bar!
If you are coming to the Keys, Robbie’s is a must do. Do some shopping, feed some fish, ride a jet ski, then have dinner. A full day of adventures or a quick pit stop either way add Robbie’s to your Florida Road Trip!
