Nestled in the vibrant South of the Border, the Reptile Lagoon beckons travelers journeying along I-95, US 301, or US 501 between South Carolina and North Carolina. Managed by Pedro’s cousin Zurdo, the Reptile Lagoon boasts an impressive 45,000 square foot facility, making it the largest reptile exhibit in the US. Visitors can marvel at 15 crocodile species, including some over 10 feet long, as well as venomous snakes, alligators, turtles, and toads. The affordability of tickets, priced at $8 for adults and $6 for children (ages 3 to 12), makes it an accessible adventure for families. Don’t forget to explore the gift shop for a memento to remember your favorite reptile.
