Thinking of taking a vacation or simply a weekend getaway, make San Diego, California your destination! Otherwise known as “America’s Finest City,” enjoy breathtaking picturesque views, miles of sandy beaches, perfect weather year round, and a ton of awesome attractions!

Rich in heritage, San Diego offers 17 museums and historical sites featuring the history of California and its first settlers. Check out the San Diego History Center, the USS Midway Museum, or one of the other fascinating museums. For the best view of the city check out the Soledad Mountain, and see the Nationals Veterans Memorial; don’t forget your camera to capture the amazing view.

San Diego has a ton of family friendly attractions, like the ever so popular San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, the Birch Aquarium at Scripps, and the kids favorite: Legoland! Spend a day exploring the famous Balboa Park, take a ride on the Old Town Trolley, or enjoy a Dine and Cruise around the bay, however you see San Diego the whole family is going to love it!

Have some fun at San Diego’s downtown Gaslamp Quarter, where you can find the cities hottest entertainment district! The quarter combines 19th century buildings with 21st century nightlife making it a darn good time. Gaslamp Quarter is the historic heart of San Diego, and has attractions for every occasion! Have a romantic date night, birthday party, bachelorette/bachelor party, or even a family dinner. Have some adult beverages in one of the many bars, or light up in a cigar lounge.

The best thing about San Diego is the weather, so get outside and enjoy the sunshine! The best way to do that is spend a day at the beach; Mission Beach has a busy boardwalk and lots of nearby attractions, and Coronado Beach has less beachgoers and calmer waves perfect for families; a short distance apart you might as well enjoy them both! For some amazing snorkeling visit La Jolla Cove, and you might even see a sealion or two. Take a hike through Annie’s Canyon, or at the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve; and see what San Diego was like when it was founded. Enjoy beautiful sandstone ravines, badlands, and breathtaking views of the coastline. Visit in the spring to see the wildflowers in full bloom. Finish the night with a sunset view at Sunset Cliff in Point Loma.
