Assateague Island National Seashore is located along the seashore of Maryland and Virginia.
This is an amazing National Park with wild horses. This is a must see, wild horses roaming along the beach!!!!!
If that is not enough to draw you in, the island also offers numerous outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing. With miles of trails and waterways. If you like the laid back a little more you can get your permit and for an over sand vehicle and drive the sand.
