Welcome to Missouri

Missouri is the Show-Me State, and it has a lot to show — starting underground. With more than 6,000 caves, it is nicknamed the Cave State, and near Springfield you can tour Fantastic Caverns, the only cave in America you ride through by tram. Meramec Caverns, once a hideout for outlaw Jesse James, sits right on Route 66, which practically got its start in Springfield. Up top, the Gateway Arch soars 630 feet over St. Louis as the tallest man-made monument in the country. Float the clear rivers of the Ozarks, catch a show in Branson, and settle the great barbecue debate between Kansas City and St. Louis. Fun fact: Kansas City has more fountains than any city on Earth except Rome. Below you will find every Missouri map, trip, guide, and hidden gem we have.
